In 2011 I read 84 books in 12 months. While I don’t expect to match or beat that goal, keeping a record of everything I read was definitely a motivational tool to get me back into a regular habit of reading. With that in mind, I’m going to repeat my goal of 52 books in a year (a book each week) for 2012.

* Haruki Murakami’s 1Q84 was published in English in a single volume, however due to the fact it is divided into three books within the single volume and was originally published as three books (AND it’s damn huge), I’m counting it as three books so neener. 🙂
